Welcome to The Weekly, FREE Online Government Auctions USA Newsletter

Hi,

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS INFORMATION APPEARS IN THE NEWS SECTION AT THE MEMBERS' AREA AT GOVERNMENT AUCTIONS USA AS SOON AS WE RECEIVE IT. FULL DETAILS ABOUT EACH AUCTIONEER CAN BE FOUND AT THE SITE.

The GAUSA Newsletter is our regular FREE bulletin designed to keep you updated with news, latest sales, auction results and general pieces of interesting auction information that have occurred throughout the week. This is a supplement to information contained in the main GAUSA  Database and is an additional service.

Hi

As you know I don't send you emails unless I've found something so important to your trading,
that you stand to lose thousands of dollars if you don't check it out now.

Here's what I mean:

I receive countless emails requesting me to review products and to be honest, most of them are not even worth the space they take up on my hard drive. However, occasionally I stumble across a real diamond in the rough and these are the ones I let my preferred subscribers know about... You see, without this information, I can guarantee you'll fail in the market. At last, you can find out the closely guarded secrets of top traders.
A week ago, I was asked to review a revolutionary new program that has just been released. After reviewing it in great detail, it truly can be called the holy grail of trading. It reveals what all top traders have in common. After talking with the author, I've found he's still collecting testimonials and so I've made him an offer… I said I'd get him some top notch testimonials if my subscribers could receive a 25% discount on the package. Aren't I nice ;-)

BUT THERE'S A CATCH.
!fname - Trading Secrets Revealed In exchange for the discount, once you've completed the package, all he asks is that you write one paragraph telling him what you thought. That sounds fair doesn't it? It's a win-win situation.

To take up the opportunity visit: HERE

Read the letter and discover that he leaves nothing out. Unfortunately, this special offer is only available to the next 37 orders. After that, I can't guarantee you'll receive the discounted
price. Please check the program out since I know it'll be worth your time.

Visit:  HERE

 Best regards,

Terry Johnson

Legendary cars up for auction

Legendary cars up for auction
By Valerie Kuklenski,

When George Barris cleans out his garage, it's no ordinary tag sale.
Today, Barris is auctioning off more than 70 custom automobiles his company, North Hollywood-based Barris Kustom Industries, built or accessorized for the entertainment business.
The collection includes two of the 1969 orange Dodge Chargers, known as the General Lee, in the "Dukes of Hazzard" series. And there's John Travolta's Greased Lightning 1946 Ford hot rod from the movie musical "Grease."
"It's going to be an interesting auction," Barris said. "We haven't had so many cars offered in one location at one time before."
Bidding on the Barris Star Car Collection will begin at 1 p.m. at the Petersen Automotive Museum, 6060 Wilshire Blvd. at Fairfax Avenue, following one last preview beginning at 10 a.m. The catalog can be viewed and bids placed through Bonhams & Butterfields' site, www.butterfields.com.
Levi Morgan of Bonhams & Butterfields said hundreds of bidders are expected at the museum, with many more participating through phone and online connections.
"There's a lot of interest from the U.K., from France and Italy on a lot of these TV cars."
Morgan said most of the cars are in driving condition, although they might not be suited to everyday street traffic.
Barris expects some of the hottest bidding action on the General Lees ($75,000-$85,000) and Greased Lightning ($65,000-$75,000).
Just as pricey, though, is the beat-up jalopy built for the 1993 movie version of the sitcom "The Beverly Hillbillies." It might not earn a primo parking spot with a restaurant valet, but it's a heck of a conversation piece.
"All the props, the rabbit skins are hanging on it, the wood ladder, the pots and pans," Barris said.
"There was a left fender that was dented, and I had five jalopies so I had to duplicate that dent five times. I used a sledgehammer. I had to practice and practice and slam that fender the same way."
Then there are the two Flintmobiles seen in the 1994 feature "The Flintstones." Barris recalled star John Goodman running his feet raw in the floorboard-less "stone" vehicles, even after a golf cart chassis and electric motor were added.Barris plans to donate several choice pieces to the Petersen for a George Barris Hollywood Star Cars gallery, including the main Batmobile from the 1960s "Batman" series, a colorful Monkees car from the '60s pop band's TV show, some vehicles used in James Dean films and the bizarre custom hearse seen in TV's "The Munsters." In all, the auction includes about 80 percent of his collection.
"At Universal, we had more fan mail for the Munsters' coach than for the poor Munsters," he laughed.
It's not all about nostalgia, though. Several souped-up cars from "The Fast and the Furious" (2001) and its sequel "2 Fast 2 Furious" (2003) should appeal to twenty-something customers who can afford the $65,000-$75,000 estimated prices.
Morgan offers some hope for bidders with more modest budgets.
"Many of these automobiles are offered with no reserve," he said, alluding to the seller's minimum price. "These may have estimates of $50,000, but theoretically some of these could sell for $25,000."
Also up for grabs:
A sleek, futuristic, metallic blue car created by prototype shop Trans FX for a 1993 Universal movie titled "Fastlane" that was never completed. Estimated at $150,000-$175,000 and rigged with camera mounts, it's ready for its close-up.
A 1984 Pontiac Firebird that answered to "KITT" in the 1982-86 TV series "Knight Rider." (Car voice not included.)
A 1981 DeLorean from the 1990 movie "Back to the Future Part III."
The demonic 1958 Plymouth Fury coupe from the Stephen King horror picture "Christine."
A 1975 Ford Gran Torino seen in the TV series "Starsky and Hutch."
A cherry 1955 Chevy sedan that cruised through "American Graffiti."
Assorted curiosities on wheels created for "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas."
Barris may be liquidating a lot of stock, but his family-run shop is keeping busy. He says he is working with Karen Kramer, widow of filmmaker Stanley Kramer, on a remake of Kramer's 1963 chase comedy "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World."

The auction remains open until there are no more bidders when time expires (overtime). These are some of the highlights but there are many other features to explore!
We invite you to try us out, it's FREE to list items to sell and to list Wanted ads. We will also give you $10.00 in credit to use towards other fees when you register! So help us spread the word and get the system going by posting those Star Wars collectibles you have just laying around!

Selling Pieces of History is Ohio Auction Gallery’s Forte’

From Civil War relics to automotive history to fabulous Wurlitzer amusement park organs. Expect the unexpected in this classy Ohio auction gallery, and keep an eye out for the huge African lion!
(PRWEB) May 16, 2005 -- In the shadowed recesses of an attic, an unmolested collection of letters from the civil war laid waiting for the diligence of its discoverer. Smothered in dust and mouse droppings, they were part of an estate being uncovered by Antiques and Estate Auctioneers. Given the manner in which the letters survived the century—it is surprising they were discovered at all. In dealing with the inventory of large estates, oftentimes treasures as these cleverly disguised in dust are considered “junk”; there is simply too much notable property on which to focus. This is not so for the dedicated. This is not so for this progressive Wellington, Ohio auction gallery. The proprietors of the mentioned auction house rescued these letters along with a rusted tin containing very rare uniform buckles of a 1860’s Confederate soldier from New Orleans. The research and effort they invested in the inventory of this certain estate had an incredible outcome—the letters alone brought in a nice sum of almost $10,000.
Finds like these, though rare in their individuality, are a trend for Estate Auctioneers and Appraisers. John Farkas and Connie Rose are your host auctioneers who insist on high quality items, but what is more unique is their method. The proprietors are very focused on the discovery process involved with each estate. They devote their time and their means to researching the unique items that may otherwise be overlooked—and it is exactly this devotion which allows them to cater to high end collectors, museums, and specialists of all persuasions. They have also put much time and consideration into the presentation of the estates up for public auction. Not only do they have a impressive gallery featuring a large display screen where each item is digitally photographed and projected for the benefit of the audience, they also have worldwide and at home accessibility via live internet bidding (www.proxibid.com). This consideration of accessibility has won them regular constituents from around the globe.
Currently finishing a series of four auctions covering the vast estate of automotive historian Mickey Mishne, the proprietors seem eager to begin their next large project. The Mishne auctions were so successful (the attendants were comprised of museums, galleries, private collectors and the like) that the upcoming auction scheduled for June 26 is already generating anticipation.
As with the prior auctions—totally unique, rare, and sometimes bizarre estates will be brought before the public. A few subjects which will be addressed: a number of full mount preserved wild animals will be present including but not limited to an African Male Lion and a Black Buck. The auction house also has a fully restored Wurlitzer band organ Model 146A. Select pieces of an Oberlin professor’s estate will be presented, a man whose hobby was building harpsichords. This auction contains several pieces of high quality Furniture, some dating back to 1843, Amusement Park Games, Organ Grinder Organ, Glassware, Collectibles, Oriental Rugs, Artwork, signed Wallace Nutting – “A Berkshire Brook” and more.
As one can gather from the above examples, Antiques and Estate Auctioneers are marked by their interest in rare and fascinating estate work. If you are interested in auction-going or are a seasoned auction-goer, it would be wise to stay up to date with this company—they certainly make it easy—and prepare yourself for an easygoing yet exciting auction experience. Visit their website at www.estateauctioneers.com in order view the online catalog of the June 26 auction, it is sure to be a wonderful time. The gallery is located at 44777 St. Rt. 18, Wellington, OH 44090. The auctioneers may be contacted at (440) 647-4007.

The Professional's Guide to Real Estate Auctions

The Professional's Guide to Real Estate Auctions -- New Book Offers Practical Information on Accelerated Marketing Process for Real Estate
BLOOMINGTON, Ind., May 13, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Trillions of dollars worth of real estate exist in the United States alone, and sooner or later all of it sells, according to Stephen J. Martin and Thomas E. Battle III. In the second edition of their book, "Sold! The Professional's Guide to Real Estate Auctions" (now available through AuthorHouse), these two recognized authorities in the field focus on a trusted marketing tool of the trade.
Anyone looking to sell real estate, whether they are an investor, corporate owner or homeowner, must make an informed decision on how to move forward with their transaction. At the same time, buyers looking for property want to feel prepared for the negotiations of the purchase of real estate. They expect their professionals to understand all aspects of the process. One traditional technique is the accelerated marketing process or the auction method of sale, and if properly understood, can prove a valuable method of selling property.
"Sold!" explains the elements necessary to utilize the accelerated marketing process. It walks the seller through all the steps and details the necessary information all parties need to know. The book also includes a full case study of a commercial real estate transaction to illustrate the finer points of this marketing tool.
The first edition of "Sold!" was used in various colleges and the Auction Marketing Institute for more than 10 years. Now, Martin and Battle's clear and comprehensive new edition has been adopted for use in educational programs of the National Auctioneers Association (NAA) and is available to help everyone involved in the market.
Since 1970, Martin and Battle have been involved in the transfer of millions of dollars worth of real estate and have educated more than 250,000 Realtors through Indiana University and the National Center for Real Estate Education and Research. They brought their educational expertise to the auction industry and created the Certified Auctioneers Institute in conjunction with the NAA. They were educational consultants to this organization for 27 years. During that time, they also provided management consulting to dozens of premiere auction marketing firms in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Honored with the highest rewards in the industry, Martin and Battle have provided significant counsel to private and governmental organizations for their reallocation of real estate.
