Auction News

New Cheap Cars at Online Car Auction, Government Auto Auction and ...

"Yes he can!" This is possible because there are sources online that have access to public car auction information.

One such source is that of Cheap Car Finder. Cheap Car Finder has been serving 150,000 satisfied members for over 4 years and is a brainchild of Airon Corporation.

Airon Corporation is the leader in online innovation services. Their No.1 goal is customer satisfaction, and their mission is to help their customers buy vehicles for up to 90% off the retail value.

Thousands of vehicles are almost given away every year. Why? Every day thousands of Americans default on their car loans or lease payments. As a result, their new or almost new cars get repossessed by the financial institutions and auctioned off in a hurry, because the cost of storing the cars outweighs the banks' ability to try to make the lost money back. Same with police auctions.

Consequently, lucky people who have access to direct sources where the cars are being sold would find themselves overwhelmed by dirt-cheap offers that look unbelievable to the average car buyer.

Usually, before, only car dealers with a special license could benefit from these incredible savings, however, Airon Corporation has gathered enough information and access rights to be able to let their members to enjoy a multitude of the direct sources where they could find their next vehicle with up to 90% savings off the book value price. This membership is open to the general public.

To see a list of vehicles that are now being auctioned including times and dates visit http://www.bigprism.com/cheap-car/

Cheap Car Finder can be reached at this address:

Picasso Mistress Auctions Sketches.

Most of Pablo Picasso's loves had tortured lives and tragic ends: Marie-TheLre`se Walter hanged herself; Jacqueline Roque shot herself; Dora Maar became a recluse, dying poor and alone.

But 79-year-old Genevie`ve Laporte, with her throaty chuckle, floral-print dresses and white orthopedic shoes, not only survived but became an award-winning poet and documentary filmmaker.

When Laporte was 24, she began a two-year secret affair with the 70-year-old master. She was a beautiful, tousle-haired former Resistance fighter, and Picasso sketched her over and over \ naked in bed, in a fantasy wedding gown, in a prim sailor sweater.

On June 27, Laporte will sell 20 of Picasso's sketches, worth an estimated $1.8 million to $2.4 million.

SOTHEBYfS AT FERRARI.

SOTHEBYfS IS delighted to announce that on Tuesday, June 28, 2005, it will hold a landmark sale of cars and related memorabilia at Ferrarifs legendary premises in Maranello, Italy. The sale will be held at 6pm in the Ferrari Logistics Building - birthplace of some of the greatest racing and sports cars ever produced - adjacent to the famous Fiorano test track near Modena. The first ever auction of such material to be supported by Ferrari, Junefs sale will include items ranging from historic memorabilia to some of the most important cars ever produced under the aegis of Enzo Ferrari and his successors | from early cars to some of the finest, fastest modern sports and racing cars ever to have graced the road and track, including the F2004 driven by Michael Schumacher in the first five Grand Prix races of 2004, all of which he won.

The sale will be highlighted by the F2004, in which Schumacher won the Australian, Malaysian, Bahrain, Imola and Spanish races. The car represents a further evolution of the concepts already seen in the F2003-GA and a further step forward in the history of Ferrari single-seaters. When the F2004 appears at auction next June, it will be the first time that Ferrari has offered a Formula 1 car from the past season.

The sale will also include the Maserati MC12, which won the 2004 FIA GT championship race at Oschersleben, the first victory for Maserati in 37 years.

At the other end of the spectrum the sale will feature historic racing cars from many important moments in the history of the Ferrari name.

Chief among the highlights of the historic cars in the sale, is the Ferrari 412S 1958 #0744, which has an illustrious past in North American racing, having been driven by giants such as Phil Hill, Richie Ginther and John von Neumann. This is without doubt one of the greatest cars ever to be offered for sale. Estimate available on request.

Every car will be vetted by a Ferrari engineer, and a number of items in the sale will be offered direct from the companyfs own holdings. The Fiorano track at Maranello is one of the holy sites of the motor racing world, and access is normally strictly limited. Those attending the sale will, however, have the unique opportunity of following in the tyre tracks of champions and seeing where Ferrari develops all its F1 and road cars.

Equestrian Estate Up For Auction.

It's time to get out the checkbooks. A 100-acre equestrian estate in south Sarasota County will be auctioned off Thursday by JP King Auction Company.

"You can't believe this place," said Carl Carter, public relations officer for JP King.

To attend the live auction, interested parties should have financing secured and a $500,000 cashier's check to register to bid.

"I think that is the highest registration ever required," Carter said.

The auction of the estate, called Villa De Vita, is expected to attract many interested parties.

"The auction itself will only take a few minutes," Carter added.

The five-bedroom home includes seven full baths and four half baths and an eight-car garage.

Equine friends won't be left in the cold either. There are 10 paddocks, 22 stalls and a five-eighths mile oval track on site.

Owner Richard De Vita, an endodontist, recently auctioned a Sarasota Ritz-Carlton penthouse through JP King for more than $3 million.

"Auction is becoming more and more common nationwide," said Carter. "Florida seems to get more than its share because it has all the things coming together that make an auction successful."

From beaches to golf courses to the weather, the popularity of Florida real estate keeps growing and so do the number of auctions, though they are not yet commonplace.

"In Sarasota, it's not an every day, every week or even every month occasion," Carter said.

It is unknown what Villa De Vita will garner when it goes to auction at 2 p.m. Thursday. For more information, call (800) 558-5464 or visit www.jpking.com.

œ As more houses sprout up in Parrish, Leslie Wells Realty welcomed eight new sales associates. Craig Marquart, Jan Doherty, Barbara Kreuser, Stacey McKee, Paula Scott-Lowe, Jim Hagemeir, Kelly Rowland and Kelley Dubovsky joined the team of more than 20 sales associates. The Parrish-based real estate company is in Ellenton Commons Plaza.

œ Waterfront properties' prices tags are on the rise. At the beginning of June,

Coldwell Banker sales associate Mary Bernas sold a four-bedroom, four-bath home on Casey Key for $7.2 million. The sale of the 4,321-square-foot home is one of the most expensive sales on the island, according to a Coldwell Banker press release.

œ Local real estate company Horizon Realty is just three years old and continues to grow. Founded by Matt Augustyniak, the company employs more than 350 agents in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties. According to a press release, the company is looking to expand further with plans to open offices in Port Charlotte, St. Petersburg, Ellenton and Orlando.

œ Heritage Harbour's popularity isn't slowing down any. US Homes announced its Lighthouse Cove neighborhood is close to selling out. Being near Heritage Harbour's Central Park and Beacon Lake, floor plans and prices seem to be the major draws to the single-family home community. Starting at just under $300,000, the two-story homes range from 1,300 to 2,250 square feet. For more information on snagging a piece of Lighthouse Cove, call 748-2731
